Windows, Ink, preserved leaves, chicken wire, adhesive vinyl, thread, and floral wire

2025-2026

Through printmaking, fiber, and sculpture, I construct narrative environments that draw from mythology to examine time, inevitability, and the illusion of control. Reimagining Pandora’s Box as a personal framework, I merge Hellenistic iconography with contemporary anxieties. Plants, figures, and symbolic forms embody the dualities within Pandora’s story—hope and devastation, growth and decay, containment and release. The greenhouse becomes a central metaphor: a structure meant to nurture life while enclosing it. Using reclaimed windows, wire fencing, and floral imagery, I create interactive spaces that invite viewers to look through shifting layers of transparency. Like flowers that fade once picked, the work reflects the tension between preservation and inevitable deterioration.
